Beyonce dazzled her New York fans in this navy blue Rafael Cennamo dress with red slingback stilettos while promoting her latest venture, a fragrance, Heat. Over 500 fans got the chance to meet Beyonce, but of course there was a catch — You had to purchase the $122 USD Heat fragrance set. Industry sources estimate that the fragrance generated about $60,000 in sales in the Macy’s Herald Square store alone yesterday! Terry Lundgren, president, chairman and chief executive officer of Macy’s Inc., said the scent has the potential to be Macy’s number-one fragrance for the year, and was already number one without advertising! The song was originally co-written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, and produced by Quincy Jones. A few actors were in the studio (Jeff Bridges and Vince Vaughn), as well as the kids of co-producers Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones, Nicole Richie and “Parks and Recreation” star Rashida Jones, and the members of 3T (the sons of Tito Jackson), Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson. Chris Brown took to Ustream tonight to play some tracks from his upcoming mixtape for his fans. The as yet untitled mixtape will be availble for free download for Feb.14th, just in time for Valentine’s Day. From the bit we heard, it didn’t sound bad. I’d venture to say it sounded better than some of Graffiti. By the way, what’s up with everyone jumping on this Mixtape bandwagon? You can watch Chris’s 4 hour broadcast above.

Michael Jackson’s Kids to Accept Grammy Achievement Award On His Behalf

Feb
1

Paris and Prince accept GrammyMichael Jackson’s 2 eldest children accepted his posthumous lifetime achievement award at The 52nd Grammy Awards. Prince and Paris Jackson were supported by their cousins Tarryl, TJ and Taj Jackson of the 90’s music group 3T to accept the award from family friend and presenter Lionel Richie. Michael Jackson won a total of 13 Grammy Awards in his lifetime, plus the “Living Legend Award” which was presented to him by his sister, Janet, in 1993. Prince and Paris wore black suits and red armbands, like their legendary father use to do. The Grammy audience responded to their presence with a standing ovation as they walked hand-in-hand onstage. A visibly and understandably nervous Prince stumbled through his speech a bit but pulled through and proved to be an articulate and intelligent gentleman. View the video below. Call us crazy, but Paris sure does look like Mama Katherine.
