CW’s New Drama The Beautiful Life

So funny story. I’ll admit i’m a High School Musical fan. What can I say? I’m a sucker for cheesy things that make you feel good and sing along! So I’m in Union Square in Manhattan attempting to hunt down a textbook for school, and my mind says “Hey! There goes Corbin Bleu” and the girl from “Darcy’s Wild Life( Sarah Paxton),” I literally keep walking for about 15 seconds and then my mind randomly processes the fact that they are naked!I had to backtrack to figure out what they hell they were selling! The Beautiful Life a.k.a TBL is a new CW drama that revolves around a group of male and female models sharing a residence in New York. The story begins with a fish out of waters scenario as country boy Chris Andrews makes his way to the city for a family vacay and ends up getting spotted by a modeling scout. Drama unfold from there. It’s a typical CW drama in the vein of Gossip Girl with the world of fashion mixed in. If you enjoy shows like Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, you’ll definitely enjoy this one. I missed the first episode, but I watched it online and it was pretty cool. Corbin Bleu is, as Wendy Williams would say, a friend in my head, and dude need a steady job so I’m going to support it! The only issue is that its up against new cult favorite Glee, but that’s what TiVo and the internet is for! The Beautiful Life airs @ 9pm est on The CW!
