Mariah and Ne-Yo work on “Angels Cry” Remix

Ne-Yo shared this pic of him and Mariah Carey in the studio working on the remix to “Angels Cry”. As previously reported, Mariah Carey will be releasing two remix albums for Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, one will be strictly dance club versions by remixer The Jump Smokers and the others will be pop/R&B remixes with well known artists such as R.Kelly, Trey Songz and Ne-Yo. The as yet-untitled Remix album is set for release on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. The project will be treated by the label as an entirely new project which means all new promotional stops! Apparently this shot was taken at the video set so I guess she’s going for a modern “One Sweet Day” type look? Girl, I guess.”Angels Cry” is slated for release to radio on Monday, January 4, 2010.

Love the idea however Mariah just needs to retire, her vocals aren’t the same anymore and I’m patiently waiting for Ne-Yo’s new album to be released
