Base Profile| The Script

Soul is slowly creeping back into Rock music with acts like Kings of Leon and The Fray, well now we can add The Script to that collection. The Script is an Irish trio whose sound alike reference boasts an interesting mix of artists, claiming a sound that brings to mind “U2 versus Timbaland, Van Morrison remixed by Teddy Riley. Danny O’Donoghue handles lead vocals, Mark Sheehan plays lead guitar and Glen Power plays the drums. You may have spotted them on one of their various TV performances during the last couple of months (90210The Ellen DeGeneres Show, David Letterman, Alexa Chung, etc.). The trio’s debut single, “We Cry”, was released by Phonogenic/ SonyBMG in April 2008 and reached #13 in the UK charts the following month. These three guys from the wrong side of the tracks found the right side through music and it sounds great. Check out the video for their latest single “BreakEven” below. If you aren’t singing “I’m falling to pieces” by the time the song is done…. then “Boo Bitch Boo” for you as a good friend of mine would say! These guys are racking up fans already! Check this video of the entire Terminal 5 club singing “Breakeven”. Good to know they sound great live! We’re expecting big things for this band, hopefully they won’t let us down!
