Mariah Carey premiered her new videos for “Angels Cry” and “Up Out My Face“remixes featuring Ne-Yo and Nicki Minaj respectively, today via VEVO. The “Angel’s Cry” video lacks a cohesive theme and the fact that they choose to record it in a studio together, when frankly Mariah didn’t re-record her vocals at all is interesting. On the other hand the “Up Out My Face” Remix video with Nicki Minaj is much better. It’s a different look and feel for Mariah and it captures her personality and humor to a tee! Furthermore Mariah is the Original Barbie, so it works! No shade to Nicki Minaj, but I couldn’t help but then Lil Kim would’ve delivered an even better performance. Both videos were directed by Mariah’s hubby Nick Cannon!
