“Like a Moth to a flame, burned by the fire/ My love is blind can’t you see my desire?” Who doesn’t know those lyrics to the 1993 R&B classic “That’s The Way Love Goes” by Pop Icon Janet Jackson. Produced by Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis and Janet Jackson, the song was the song of the summer of 1993. U.K singer Jay Sean (famous for his 2009 hit “Down”) and R&B singer Thara teamed up to their own spin on the song, changing up the lyrics yet keeping the majority of the chorus in tact. Somehow in the process they mannaged to strip the sexiness and soul of the song with their version, but maybe that the Janet stan in us. What do you think? Take a listen and vote below!
