Dr. Dre sues Death Row Records Label

Though Dr. Dre parted from the label for over a 15 years now, Dr. Dre has sued the new iteration of Death Row Records claiming the label failed to pay him royalties due to him from a new version of his iconic Hip-Hop album “The Chronic” without his permission. Apparently they’ve been selling a digital version of the album though his 20+ year old contract doesn’t include licensing for digital distribution. Let this be a lesson for all aspiring artists, know whats going on with your product at all times like Dre does so you can get your money and protect your brands.
