Remembering Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace

Thirteen years ago one of Brooklyn’s finest M.C’s and arguably one of the best rappers of all time passed away in Los Angeles, California. The victim of a foolish coastal war, Christopher “BIGGIE” Wallace was only 24 at the time of his death. His body work consist of mostly unofficial mix tapes and two studio albums, one of which was released after his death. It’s amazing to think that someone with such a small catalog has become a Hip-Hop legend. Wallace’s flow was second to known at his peak and his talent as a storyteller was unparalleled. Today, we not only mourn the loss of a talent taken from his element far to early, we celebrate the life of Christopher Wallace and his work. If you think Young Money is hot shit today, it was nothing compared to the Bad Boy family at their peak. Flashy suits, yachts, foreign cars….it truly was “all a dream.” Rest in Peace Christopher Wallace.
