MARIAH’S “ANGELS ADVOCATE” IN TROUBLE

The fate of Mariah Carey’s Angel’s Advocate Remix album is not looking so good! The Angels Advocate album, a Remixed version of Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel featuring additional vocals of Mary J.Blige, R.Kelly and Nicki Minaj among others, will not be released on Tuesday, March 30th.

According to Mariah’s manager, Chris Lighty, the album will not be put out in stores but they are working on releasing some singles off the album. “It won’t go to waste,” we were assured.

Mariah and her team have their focus set on the next album and how to put this out creatively and financially effective. “We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album. The decision hasn’t been totally made yet. It’s a creative process that cannot be rushed.” The label itself, Island/Def Jam has stated the following: “We’ve released a few of Mariah’s hot remixes on iTunes and Mariah’s back in the studio working on some new surprises.” Yet rumors have been circling that things are not going well at Island/Def Jam as L.A Reid’s Universal Music superiors are less than thrilled with the album sales of Rihanna and Mariah and believe that he is somewhat part of the problem.
