Audio Engineers Talk About Working With Mariah Carey + others

Here is a pretty cool clip of a group of audio engineers talking about working with various artists including one who has worked with Bryan-Michael Cox and Mariah Carey. I like the idea of throwing up a SM-57 in the control room just recording the creative process so you don’t forget the things you did that you liked. I wouldn’t be able to really do that because our studio sessions are booked so tightly at school that you have to know what your going in there to do before you do it, therefore the songwriting will most likely occur out of the studio instead of in the studio.
