Pop icon Janet Jackson covers the July issue of Essence Magazine. In the issue, the entertainer speaks on her new found confidence! Jackson tells Essence “It took me a good minute to get here, it really did. But I love my life. I only wish I had this confidence when I was younger.”
Currently in the midst of shooting For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enu’ she is also preparing to make her directorial debut
While details are limited, at this point, Jackson has confirmed that CSI: Miami star Adam Rodriguez will join her romantic drama as the leading man. Very interesting. Seems like Janet is moving further away from music and more into films and producing. Janet has also executive produced a documentary called “Being T” about transsexuals. Sounds like someone is trying to get that Oscar right next to those 5 Grammys!
