In early 2003, the consensus amongst many was that Mariah Carey’s career was kind of over and that she’d never see the heights of the charts the way she did at her peak. They were wrong. When Mariah jumped on Busta Rhymes and Flipmode Sqaud’s “I Know What You Want”, her simple cooing and ad libing took the track to another level. “I Know What You Want” peaked at #3 on the Billboard Charts and it was Carey’s highest appearance on the charts after the Glitter Fiasco until 2005′s “We Belong Together” hit #1!
