CHART CHAT|CHRIS BROWN HITS #1 WITH “DEUCES”

Even though I’m still throwing a side eye and Chris Brown‘s Twitter situation, You can’t deny that 21 year old singer is working furiously at a comeback and the fruits of his labor has begun to bloom. This week, Brown tops the Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B charts with his single “Deuces” which became the surprise urban hit of the summer. Chris is also in theaters with the film Takers which is set to debut at number 2 at the box office. Not bad. Hopefully Brown doesn’t fall victim to the mix tape curse, that being when you’re mix-tape is hotter than your album.
